The Secret Behind the Press

I am Wendy Yvette Norman—an Evangelist, Overseer, author, publisher, coach, mother, and grandmother. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to restoration, purpose, and helping others move forward with clarity and faith.

Writing has always been more than placing words on a page for me; it has been a sanctuary for processing emotions I could not otherwise articulate. Writing became my therapeutic release—a practice that began at age ten, when my mother gave me a notebook and encouraged me to compose my own verses.

I established this platform during a transformative "waiting season" in my life. It was during this time that I received a vision guided by the Holy Spirit, inspired by the Scriptures: "Be still and know that I am God," and "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Today, The Secret Place continues that original mission—creating space for stories to be written, voices to be restored, and women to move through life's seasons with faith, purpose, and intention.
